2007 Faculty Pioneers

Dr. Andre Sobczak, Associate Professor at Audencia Nantes School of Management and Founding Director of Audencia's Centre for Global Responsibility has been leading global responsibility mainstreaming initiatives on a national as well as an international level.

Prof. Sobczak is also coordinating the reporting framework on global responsibility for learning organizations within the GRLI, where he represents Audencia, following his leading role in implementing the Global Compact principles in the business school.

Through his research, teaching and cooperation with companies and the community, he promotes global responsibility within Audencia Nantes School of Management and within the twelve companies cooperating with his Centre for Global Responsibility.

Since his PhD, obtained at the European University Institute in Florence , on Legal Aspects of Corporate Codes of Conduct, he has developed intense individual and collective research in the field of global responsibility published in major French and international journals. In his research, he focuses on the regulatory potential of global responsibility in the era of globalization, on the impact of the national legal, cultural and socio-economic context on global responsibility practices and on the role of the public authorities and employees' representatives. Dr. Sobczak has also been part of international research teams working on CSR for the European Commission and the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions in Dublin .
