Faculty Pioneer Awards

 

The Nomination Deadline for the 2008 Awards Cycle has Passed.

 

The nomination form for ROUND 1 is available here for those interested.

 

The Center for Business Education is also pleased to continue its partnership with both EABIS and Ashoka, in hopes of recognizing European faculty and all faculty specifically engaged with the topic of social entrepreneurship.   All questions regarding these awards may be directed to Justin Goldbach.

 

Faculty Pioneer Awards celebrate educators who have demonstrated leadership and risk-taking in integrating social and environmental issues into academic research, educational programs and business practice. Nominations are open to all faculty members at any institution worldwide offering a graduate management degree.

 

Nominees should have demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following ways:

 

•  Demonstrated leadership in the integration of social, environmental, and economic issues into business school courses, curriculum development and design.

•  Organized or participated in a leadership role in business school activities involving social and environmental topics, including but not limited to: conferences, program design, experiential learning, independent studies, and student clubs.

•  Made a positive and visible impact on business practice with regard to the intersection of social, environmental, and economic issues.

•  Shown cutting-edge scholarship within the context of social and environmental issues in business.

 

Please see this link to access the nomination form for ROUND 1. It is due, electronically, by Friday, March 14, 2008 . Nominators of finalist candidates will be asked to complete a more comprehensive letter of recommendation in the spring.

 

Award Winners will receive a cash prize along with significant corporate and media recognition. Winners will be announced in the fall of 2008.
