Alex Roberts manages an array of strategic partnerships, key projects, and websites focused on influencing the global business school education world. These include the Sloan Corporate Governance and Accountability Project (CGA), a unique curriculum development project that aims to move the discussion and teaching of alternative theories of corporate governance from the periphery to the core of business education. Alex's other projects include the Aspen Institute Sustainability Center Research Initiative, a strategic partnership with the Applied Sustainability Center at Walton School of Business, University of Arkansas, and a variety of other MBA curriculum development initiatives. He also oversees the Center's web resources, including CasePlace.org, the leading resource for MBA faculty seeking innovative teaching materials on business and sustainability. Alex edits and distributes the Center for Business Education Monthly E-Newsletter, sent to nearly 50,000 MBA faculty, administrators, practitioners, and students, and also provides general support and development for the Center for Business Education.

 

Prior to joining The Aspen Institute in the summer of 2005, Alex worked as a Development Intern for the Drum Major Institute for Public Policy, aiding the Executive Director in executing an ambitious fundraising agenda. Alex also worked as an Assistant Director during the fall 2004 Presidential election in a New York City fundraising office, and as a Field Organizer in Miami , Florida helping to organize voters in the run-up to the election. Alex graduated with a B.S. in Human Development from Cornell University in 2004 and had concentrations in American Studies, Economics and Government
